01 — The brief
The next edition in a limited drip bag series.
Bonbon is the latest of Stitch Coffee’s limited release drip coffee bags, following Bubble Gum, Lollipop and Lollipop 2.0. Each coffee in the range has a dessert-inspired flavour, such as watermelon cake and eclair.
Each edition should move the design forward. The packaging had to show clearly what the product is, without being too literal.
02 — Process
Desserts as the way in.
Each flavour is drawn as its dessert. The illustrations catch the customer’s eye, then lead them to the story behind the flavour: the processing methods that make a coffee taste like watermelon cake or an eclair.
